Unexpected impact of social media

I got this feeling tonight that social media outlets (Twitter, fbook, ytube etc) will/ are helping people to realize that their lives are actually pretty interesting compared to that of their idolized ’stars’. Just a hunch… tho hopefully its more than just wishful thinking.
